About HJS Services
HJS Services was started by its owner and chief contractor Hudson Stark back in 2014 as a small, part-time punch list and handyman company. The son of a master carpenter, Hudson got his start in construction at twelve years old when he began to apprentice under his dad during his summer breaks. His extended family includes master carpenters, architects, general contractors, and expert wood workers.
Since its inception, HJS Services has been developed into a full-time remodel and landscape construction company. Fully licensed and insured for both residential and commercial construction, HJS Services can be relied upon to provide its customers with the highest standard of professionalism.

Our Process
The process of remodeling something old, or building something new, can be a daunting task. HJS Services will see you through the process and leave you better off than before.
1. On-Site Consultations
The process starts with meeting in person, coming up with a vision, setting a date to start, and then putting it into writing.
2. Preconstruction Work
When the start date arrives, we will come in, cover or move everything that needs protecting, and then remove what is not wanted.
3. Installation
The next part would be the rough installation. It makes up 80% of the work, but only takes half the overall time. This involves stuff like framing, pouring concrete, installing drywall, etc.
4. The Finishing
Touches
The final phase of all the work is where everything is made to look nice. It is only 20% of the work, but takes the other half of the overall time. This would include trim, painting, cover plates, etc.
